Meet Traxx

Talent can be defined in a myriad of ways. It can be innate gift or a learned proficiency, but occasionally it's a potent mixture of both. This happens to be the case with Lee Thomas, the southern-reared producer and visionary who goes by the pseudonym Traxx. Born and bred in Columbus, Georgia, Traxx's destiny was solidified at a young age when he became a high school track and field star at Shaw High School. Traxx continued to build his track and field stardom and earned a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication at the University of Nebraska. Traxx later moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he teamed up with Mob Tied Records CEO Adam "Dondada" Goodman. With Dondada and Traxx's street sense, and educated minds, their team was unstoppable. They decided that it would be beneficial for Traxx to return home to Georgia to expand and greater build his career. This musical prodigy who sites producers Quincy Jones, Brian Michael Cox, Dr. Dre, and Jazzy Pha as his inspirations, skillfully adds crispy, hard hitting 808 bass lines with gentle touches of rhythmic change and chord progression to each crafted beat. In 2003, Traxx founded King of Beatz, an umbrella company to King of Beatz Productions. As a businessman on the rise, Traxx is serious about his craft and professional alliances. Today he continues forming a powerful movement that is sure to force other producers to step up their game. Traxx is famous for making diverse beats that range from rap, rock, classical and pop to soulful R&B ballads and gospel-inspired jams. He is as authentic as a creative producer can be, reading music with an educated ear while possessing the ability to instantly recognize the correct key. In addition to learned knowledge, there is that burning desire he inherently possesses to win and maintain respect.
